1971 Yonezawa, "Journey to the Moon" in Original Box
Battery operated "Journey to the Moon" complete and never removed from original box. Tin litho and plastic comes complete with all inserts, box dividers, and clear acrylic sheet (which seals contents even with the cover off). Assembled it measures 37" long. Manufactured by Yonezawa for Mego sales in the U.S. Battery powered space capsule moves along twisted, curved track between the tin litho Moon and Space Station. The little chrome plated radar dish antenna is present, but it may be difficult to see in the photo. Still has its original paper American flag on the capsule! Although the toy has never been played with I removed only the capsule to make sure it worked.....which it did!! Size: Boxed approx. 14" square x 4½". Sold: Dec. 2013
